Paul & his wife Rose both gew up in Manitoba. Paul from Winnipeg and Rose from the Interlake area. Paul and Rose have been m,arried for 40 years and have 4 children and 6 amazing grandchildren.
they both became believers in Christ in 1980 and shortly thereafter began attending a New Church Plant in Winnipeg called Springs Church. After working for a few years on the streets of Winnipeg with Springs Street Ministry Teams tey became the Youth Pastors. They witnessed God take this small group of 12-15 young people to a place of growth and strength. Before leaving Springs in 1989 the Youth Ministry had grown to over a 100 young people.
In January of 1990 Paul & Rose along with a team of church planters planted the first Victory Church in Calgary. From there they served as Associate Pastors of the Victory Church of Brooks for 8 years. The ministry in Brooks was very successful and they saw many ministries established, especially in the area of Missions.
In 1997 they received a call to consider leading a church in Saskatchewan. Although they were not feeling the need to go, they decided they would pray about it and God began to confirm the move to their hearts. So in Spetember of 1997 they moved their family to pastor Northeast Christian Fellowship Church in Melfort. They have been leading and pastoring Northeast for 24 years and have seen God do many amazing things.
They continue to press in to take a hold of that of which Christ took a hold of them.

"But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even raise his eyes to heaven but kept striking his chest and saying, 'God turn your wrath from me- a sinner'
I tell you this one went down to his house justified rather than the other, because who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted."

Tara accepted Jesus Christ to be her Lord and Saviour in 2016 during a Sunday Service at NCF. She then, went home and listened to the same sermon again and confirmed it in her heart that that was what she needed to do.
Since 2016, Tara started serving in the church including driving for Children and Youth Ministry. In the summer of 2016, Tara became a helper in Youth Ministry. This role then transitioned to being a Youth Leader and she has been enjoying it since then.
Tara enjoys gardening, camping, reading, cooking and baking. She also likes creating art, socializing (a.k.a. talking), and doing Beatty weather reports.
Tara's favourite verse is:
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Rea worked as a summer student at NCF for three different summers and was an intern at NCF for a whole year. She worked mostly in youth ministry and children's ministry, but also did a little bit of other things.
Rea is not enjoying her work as an Administrative Assistant, while still working with youth and children. She also helps with the production of Northeast Unplugged and is never bored. :D
Rea likes to play guitar and is on the worship team. When she has downtime, she likes to read, clean, go for coffee with friends, go for a walk or drive, take care of her houseplants, watch shows, or just have a nap. Naps are good.
Life Verse: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5
